This trim includes the safe lowering of mature racks of coconuts. Racks of coconuts are like bunches of grapes but much heavier!
Sustainability and local farming are movements you can be a part of when you allow your coconut palms to produce. Since coconuts are full of water, racks are very heavy, some weighing up to 300 pounds. These heavy racks require controlled lowering to avoid damage to the nuts or the grounds below.
We recommend harvesting and trimming every four months for palms on the Coconut Production Trim Schedule.
